Ruth A. Swartz

Ruth A. Swartz, 76, of Oregon, Ohio, died Saturday December 2, 2017 surrounded by family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Ruth was born August 10, 1941 to Joseph and Leona (Teneyck) Monto in Toledo. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Douglas Monto; and her husband, Philip M. Swartz on July 30, 1991. She is survived by her children, Donna J. (Michael) Kidd, Robert M. (Suzette) Swartz; siblings, Betty (the late William) Lee, Marjorie (the late Harold) Smallets; sisters-in-law Barbara Monto, Mary Jane Swartz; grandchildren, Amy Kidd, Heather (Chris) Smith, Christina Lynn (Christopher) Swartz-Templin, Stephanie Swartz, Robert S. (Jessica) Swartz; and 8 loving great-grandchildren. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. S. Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133). A funeral service will be held the next day, Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
