Ruth M Rollo

Ruth M. Rollo, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Heartland of Perrysburg. Ruth was born February 4, 1928 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to Clyde and Elsie (Kiel) Facer. Ruth married Allyn Rollo on May 20, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio and he survives. Ruth was an executive secretary for the Toledo Blade for 20 years. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg and was a member of the Mended Hearts Program for 15 years; making many pillows for individuals in the hospitals. She and Allyn loved to travel around the world on cruise ships. Along with her husband Allyn, she is survived by her son, Mark (Pam) Madison, grandchildren, Jake and Luke Madison, brother, Dr. George (Pat) Facer and sister, Carolyn Thornton and dear friends, Jackie Dence and Esther Hinsey. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Madison and brothers, Walter and Jim Facer. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 3-7 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) Visitation will continue Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 10-11 A.M at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, OH until the time of service at 11 A.M. with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum, officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zoar Lutheran Church, Organ Fund.
