Ruth Isabell Philo

Ruth I. Philo age 95 formerly of Maumee passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009, at Spring Meadows Care Center. She was born on October 4, 1913, to George and Orie Stout Philo. She was an office manager for S. S. Kresge/K-Mart for 40 years, retiring in 1975. She was the last of the 12 Philo kids who grew up in Up Town Maumee. She is survived by her nephew, Glen Philo; niece, Sandra Burrows and sister-in-law Jane Philo. Also surviving are 2 great nieces, a great nephew and 2 great-great nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Family and friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Saturday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
