Ruth C. Hoffman Moran

Ruth C. Moran, 93, passed away November 26, 2018 at her home. Ruth was born November 6, 1925 in Pottsville, PA to Anthony and Ester (Herner) Hoffman. She married William Moran and he preceded her in death in 1993. Ruth worked for several years at Houcks Drug Store. She was a member of Grace United Methodist in Perrysburg and The Maumee Senior Center, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed line dancing in her earlier years and was an avid reader. She is survived by her siblings, Dawn LaRoe and John “Jack” (Joan) Hoffman and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband William, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Althea Laroe. Per Ruth’s request, services will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s name to the Way Public Library or The Maumee Senior Center.
