Ruth Molnar

Ruth R. Molnar age 89, formerly of Maumee passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Las Villas Del Norte Care Center in Escondido, CA. Ruth moved to California in 2004 to be closer to her son. She was born in Monroe, MI to Calistus and Genevieve Schuttz VerHoeven. Ruth graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelors of Arts in Child Psychology. She was a member of AOPI Sorority; 9 to 5 Womens Group and OSU Mothers Association. Ruth was employed at Sun Oil before Marrying Andrew Molnar in 1952. She is survived by her son, Gary Patricia Molnar of San Diego, CA and a grandson, Jonathan Andrew Molnar. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Molnar in 2004. Friends and family may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Tuesday January 29, 2013 from 4-7 pm. with a scripture service to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Maumee at 11:00 am.
