Ruth Judd

Ruth Judd, age 87, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born April 17, 1923 to Rudolf and Helene Lessing. Ruth married George G. Judd on May 31, 1944 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he was stationed with the U.S. Army. Ruth was employed by the Woodville Library for many years and volunteered at the Wildwood Manor House. Her memberships included Samagama Sorority, Third Tuesday Museum Group, book clubs and bridge clubs. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Shereth Roger Lichtenwald and Linda David Meyerholtz; brother, Roy F. Lessing; granddaughters, Cynthia Penka, Melissa Patrick Thomas, Kristin Meyerholtz and Abbey Meyerholtz; great grandchildren, Judd and Cole Penka, Annabelle Thomas and Rima and Logan Deal. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George G. Judd. Arrangements for cremation will be made by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Maumee. There will be no visitation. Open memorial services will be held at the Fallen Timbers Condominium Clubhouse, Waterville, OH on Saturday June 26, 2010 from 2-5 PM.
