Ruth Evelyn Grossheim

Ruth Evelyn Grossheim, age 92, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home.  She was born on April 13, 1922 to Dale and Dora Bell (Honeywell) Tefft in Swanton, Ohio. Ruth enjoyed the Maumee Senior Center and volunteered with Heartland Hospice.  She liked playing the organ, baking and playing cards. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Pamela Kohlenberg; Lori (Gary) Settlemeyer; son, Kim (Karen) Grossheim; step-daughters, Doris Currier; Linda Behnfelt and Erma Bauer; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; parents and her sister and brother. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 3:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Church, 22881 Monroe Street, Archbold, Ohio 43502. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 28555 Starbright Blvd, Ste E, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
