Ruth D. Green

Ruth D. Green, age 78, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born April 3, 1933 in Toledo to Chester and Sarah Coleman Dunstan. Ruth was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed gardening, antique collecting and babysitting. The widow of Donald E. Green, Ruth is survived by her children, Donald April Green, Susan Green, James Green and Kathleen Jo Odawara Green; grandchildren, Amy Green and Hana and Ben Odawara-Green; special friends, Rachel, Katie, Bernice, Judy, Wilma and Donna. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret McCance and Alverta Granger and brother, Bill Dunstan. Family and friends may visit Friday, November 18, 2011 from 3-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Winnameg Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
