Ruth I. Gluth

Ruth I. Gluth, 95, of Sandusky, OH, and formerly of Port Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, September 05, 2018, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. Ruth was born on December 22, 1922 in Bay Township, OH, the daughter of Perry J. and Anna C. (Witt) Boysen. On November 26, 1941 at St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton, she married Kenneth J. Gluth and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2002. Ruth worked as a cost time clerk for the Erie Ordinance Army Depot. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are: Son: John T. (Linda) Gluth of Port Clinton; Daughters: Laura (Dennis) Warga of Oak Harbor and Lisa (William) VanDerGiessen of Sherman, TX; 10 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Linda Rounds, sister: Evelyn McDougell and granddaughter: Beth Ann Gluth. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8pm, Sunday, September 09, 2018 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, September 10, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
