Ruth H. Freeman

Ruth H. Freeman, age 60, of Walbridge, died at home on Monday, June 13, 2016. Ruth was born on November 4, 1955 to Paul M. and Ora J. (Schultz) Werling in Huron, Ohio and they preceded her in death. She was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and Davis College. Ruth married her beloved husband, Darren W. “Hippie” Freeman on June 21, 1994 in Toledo. She worked in the Accounts Receivable Department of Ohio Concrete Sawing and Drilling for over 15 years. Left to cherish her memory are her husband “Hippie”; son, Geoffrey S. Wasnich; brothers, Tim (Lynda) Werling, Harvey (Shannon) Hicks, Bob (Patricia) Hicks; sisters, Iva (Larry) Ashley, Jean (Bruce) Clark, Vickie (Bruce) Williams, and Janice Hicks. Ruth was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Amrhiem and Judy Hitts; brothers, Ray Hicks, Vince Werling, Donnie Hicks, Fritz Werling, Paul Werling and Anthony Werling. Friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 2:00-7:00 PM. with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM.
