Ruth L. Frankowski

Ruth L. Frankowski age 96 of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully On Saturday, April 22, 2017 in her daughters home in Luckey, OH. She was born in Logan, OH on February 9, 1921 to James E. and Mabel A. (Patton) Brown. Ruth was a 1939 graduate of Libbey High School. Ruth was employed at St. Vincent-Mercy Hospital as a telephone operator for 18 years retiring in 1986. She then worked many years as a telephone operator at Wal-Mart. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family; reading and playing bingo. Surviving are her children, Ruthann Johnson, Charles R. (Barb) Carter, Susan (Dave) Krupp, Kathy (Tim) Spangler and Diana (Jay) Corfman. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Frankowski and her sisters. A memorial service for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH.
