Ruth Eva Duck

Ruth E. Duck, 95, of Toledo and formerly of LaCarne, Oak Harbor, and Port Clinton, died unexpectantly into the hands of our Lord Jesus on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Lake Park Nursing Home, Toledo. She was born on May 29, 1918 in LaCarne to Lawrence and Eva Short Kroeger. Ruth worked for Standard Products in Port Clinton during World War II. Ruth is survived by her loving daughter: Kathleen Duck of Toledo, sister: Lois Lenz of Oak Harbor, and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Edward J. Duck, brother: Donald Kroeger, and nephew: Willard Ross McClanahan. Graveside services will be conducted 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2013 at Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
