Ruth E. Carter

Ruth E. Carter, age 93. of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Manor of Perrysburg.  She was born on July 3, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to Henry and Mabel (Boss) Becker.  Ruth was an avid crocheter, she enjoyed making afghans for her family and church.  She also enjoyed bowling, playing crazy canasta, and gardening. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann (William) Smith; son, Duane (Ruthann) Huston; daughter, Linda Draeger; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pauline Kinor; and siblings, Ralph Becker; Thelma Flint; Robert Becker and Nancy Hill. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 noon.  Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
