Ruth A. Williams

Ruth A. Williams, 97, of Graytown, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at her son, Walter’s residence. She was born on November 9, 1924, in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, the daughter of Floyd and Harriett (Fowble) Davis. Ruth married Walter E. Williams, Jr. on December 30, 1944, and after almost 69 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 21, 2013. Ruth was a homemaker who also enjoyed crocheting, baking and needlepoint. Ruth is survived by her sons, Walter (Rose) Williams, III and James (Debbie) Williams, daughters, Carolyn (Charles) Specht, Susan Griesinger, and Ruth (Thomas Lenz) Trammell, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, Richard Davis and son-in-law, Daniel Griesinger. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio, followed by a service at 10:00 AM.
