Russell E. Grove

Grove Russell E. Russell E. Grove, age 83, passed away Saturday at his residence. The son of Russell and Leona, he was born April 21, 1925 in Toledo, OH. After graduation from Waite High School, Russ entered the U.S. Army and served in WWII. Following his honorable discharge, he spent a little time in California before returning to Toledo. He worked for Modern Tools for 25 years before retiring. Russ and his wife, Nancy, loved to travel and entertain guest at their house with pool parties. He enjoyed his many trips to the casinos and quite often was successful. Surviving are his brother, Harry Grove; sister, Betty Fisher ; sister in law, Gloria Grill, Paul Flowers; sisters in law, Betty Brown, Toni Breininger, Angela Bob Thompson, Wanda Grill; nephews and nieces, Robby, Dick, Al Jeff, Janice, Roger, Mike, Pat, Jamie, Debbie, Sandy, Chris, Lynette, Les, Wayne, Victor, Jeff, Cindy, Sandy, Andrea, and Robert; as well as many grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy.
