Russell C. Gardner

Russell C. Gardner, 70, of Toledo passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Flower Hospital. He was born in Toledo on January 10, 1948 to Harry and Rose (Olson) Gardner. Russ worked at LOF for 32 years before retiring, and then worked in security for many years. Russ was an avid Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed auto racing. Russ is survived by his sons, David (Jody) and Richard (Dekota); grandchildren, Grant, Grace, Hannah, and Andrew; siblings, Carl (Arlene), Joanne Gardner and Barbara Gardner. Russ will also be missed by his Golden Retriever buddies. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623 on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2 until 5 p.m. Private interment will take place on Monday at Toledo Memorial Park.
