Rudolph F. Pfeiffer

Rudolph “Rudy” Frank Pfeiffer, 67, of Toledo, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Rudy was born in Toledo to Rudolf and Josefa Pfeiffer. He grew up alongside his three siblings: Betty, Joe and Anthony. In his younger years he loved spending time outdoors and cooking in the kitchen with his mother. He attended Holy Rosary and graduated high school from Cardinal Stritch and attended PENTA Career Center. As he got older, he attended Owens Community College, where he graduated with an associate degree in Business. After graduating, he went on to working at Jeep. Rudy was an extremely hard worker and was an active member of his Local UAW 12. He retired from Jeep after 32 years. He had a passion for the outdoors, traveling, and sports. Rudy was known for being a huge Ohio State and New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed working on flowers and feeding his birds outside. Rudy was always up for traveling to different places and seeing new things. Being a kind, loving, and dependable father was of the utmost importance to Rudy and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family. Rudy is survived by his son, Jason (Ashley) Pfeiffer; grandson, Keegan; brothers, Joseph Pfeiffer, Anthony (Amy) Pfeiffer; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in passing by his father, Rudolf; mother, Josefa; and sister, Betty. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH 43616 (419-691-6768) beginning at 3:00 p.m., until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Paws and Whiskers, 32 Hillwyck Drive, Toledo, OH 43615.
