Rudolf Strom

Rudolf “Rudy” Strom, 70, of Sylvania, was called to Heaven on Monday, April 18, 2022. He was born in Germany to the late Tadeus and Elfriede (Krueger) Strom on June 5, 1951.  Rudy and his wife, Michelle, were together for over 42 years of marital bliss. He cherished his children and grandchildren. Rudy was a genuine, caring man who made everyone he met feel important.  If you were lucky enough to have met him, you were his friend.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, children, Christina (Dan) Buss and Rudolf (Kristina) Strom, and his beloved grandchildren, Collin Buss, Natalie Strom, and Madelyn Buss, who affectionately call him Papa. Rudy will be terribly missed by many.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 3-7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 . Private church services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to The Assistance Fund ( https://tafcares.org/donors/donate/ ) or Stand Up 2 Cancer ( https://standuptocancer.org/ ). The family also urges you to please consider donating blood in honor of Rudy.  Blood donations were a critical part of his care.
