Ruby Rose Lee Wheeler

Ruby R. Wheeler, 78, of Port Clinton, passed away, unexpectedly Monday, February 27, 2017. Ruby was born on June 21, 1938 in McCreary County, KY, the daughter of Simon Lewis and Rachel (Strunk) Kirby. On March 10, 1954 in Oak Harbor, OH, she married Clarence C. “Manny” Wheeler, and he preceded her in death on March 04. 2002. Those left to cherish her memory are: Daughters: Carol Wheeler, Cheryl Laney, Sheri Wheeler and Coletta Wheeler; Son: David (Stephanie) Wheeler; 40 Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great=Grandchildren: Sisters: Della Kirby-Marts, Mary Kirby-Kelly and Carol Anderson-Kirby and Brother: William (Eva) Kirby. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter: Berna Faye Carroll. Son: John Wheeler and 3 Brothers. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Reverend Deron Fourman at 2:00PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
