In Loving Memory of Roxanna Marie Isaacs
Sunrise: July 4, 1939— Sunset: July 17, 2025
It is with deep love and gratitude that we celebrate the life of our beloved Roxanna Marie Isaacs, of Perrysburg, OH. She peacefully passed away on July 17, 2025 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Toledo, OH at the age of 86. A woman of unwavering faith, gentle strength, and boundless compassion, she left this world surrounded by the love of her family — just as she lived every day of her remarkable life.
Born on July 4, 1939 in Toledo, OH to Robert and Gertrude (Montgomery) English, Roxanna came into this world as a firecracker and lived a life full of light. She married her loving husband Robert Isaacs.
Roxanna devoted her life to loving God and serving others. Her days were shaped by quiet acts of grace, thoughtful words, and the kind of steadfast love that made everyone around her feel seen and cherished. Her prayers for others were always heartfelt and beautiful — spoken with such sincerity that one couldn’t help but feel wrapped in peace, hope, and God’s love.
Roxanna was truly beautiful — both inside and out. Her kind eyes, warm smile, and gentle spirit lit up every room she entered. She carried herself with grace and humility, always putting others before herself and offering love without condition or hesitation.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, she built her legacy on the foundation of faith and family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones — sharing stories, offering wisdom, and celebrating even the smallest of milestones with a full heart.
One of her most cherished traditions was making homemade Christmas treats for the entire family. She poured love into every batch.
In her younger years, Roxanna loved riding the motorcycle with her husband, enjoying the freedom of the open road and the adventure they shared together. As life slowed down, she found happiness in the simple pleasures: sitting outside to feed the birds, squirrels, and any creature that wandered by, lovingly tending to her rose bushes, and treating herself to a mocha frappe from McDonald’s — one of her favorite little indulgences.
Roxanna is survived by her loving husband, Robert Isaacs; son, Lee Patrick (Helly); stepsons William Isaacs and Curtis Isaacs (Nancy); stepdaughter Debbie Instone; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers Jim English (Dorothy) and Brian English (Sally); nieces and nephew Dawn Jakubec, Laura Desloober, and James English (Jackie) who will carry forward her faith, her love, and her legacy of kindness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gertrude English, and sister, Roberta Harris.
Visitation will be held on July 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. S. Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH. Funeral service will be held on July 26 at 10am at Bethel Assembly of God Church, 665 W. Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, OH. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH.
