He had two wonderful children, Julie Denholm and David Shriver. He graduated from Morris Harvey College (now University of Charleston, WV), in 1958. Ross has two talented grandchildren, Wesley and Katelin Shriver. He later married Nellie Bertsch, in 1965. He worked for IBM and later worked for BFGoodrich, he divorced Nellie in 1975. He later met Patty Teufel and they married in 1977. Ross left Goodrich in 1984 and started Rho Sigma Software, a consulting firm and worked as a computer consultant until 2003. He traveled to various big cities and was an excellent consultant, including at Dana for 10 ½ years. He worked during tax season for H&R Block from 2003 to 2009. He later worked for the Census for awhile and met some very interesting people, which he truly loved. Ross enjoyed writing and had a short story published at Owens College where he attended writing classes. He was forever trying to write and sell a short story. While in college, he had a play published by Rod Serling and it was produced and ran on the popular Playhouse Theater TV program. He was always so proud of that. He will be enormously missed. He was witty, funny, intelligent, and very lovable! His wife, Patty, a former nun, felt so loved by him. He could cook and adapted to all situations with grace and happiness! He is a tribute to what a loving marriage is all about. May his new life be filled with awe and happiness. He is flying on the wings of a butterfly now. He always managed to get into unusual situations! He will always be loved and cherished greatly and his shadow will be filled with golden light wherever he is. He will light up the sky and we will know he is safe and getting into some more mischief somewhere. Sail on, dear Ross! You will never be forgotten. You are a tribute to manhood and a great American!
