Rosemary Studer

Rosemary Studer, 91, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Rosemary was born October 12, 1931, in Lima, Ohio to the late William and Magdalene Greeley. A graduate of St. Gerard High School in 1949 she went on to attend Northwestern School of Commerce in 1950, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Business Sorority.

On December 1, 1956, she married Eugene Studer, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Together they raised five children. Rosemary was a gentle and kind devoted wife and mother. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, and playing the piano. Rosemary was a devout Catholic who prayed the rosary and volunteered as an eucharistic minister for St. Rose Church.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Richard) Wohl, Sandra (Daniel) Brown and their six children, son-in-law, and one grandchild: Patricia “Trisha” (Michael) Posadny, Michael (Ann) Studer and Joseph Studer. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren including, Grant Wohl, Timothy Wohl, Michael Posadny, Julia Rosemary Posadny, Jon (Meghan) Studer, Katelyn (Sam) Palmer, Cameron Studer, Matthew (Ireland) Studer and three great-grandchildren including, James Palmer and Charlie Studer and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, William (Edna) Greeley.

Rosemary’s love and kindness will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family.

Friends and family will be received, Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
