Rosemary M Stange

Rosemary M. (Cousino) Stange, 86, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family June 27, 2016, at The Manor of Perrysburg. Rosemary was born March 24, 1930 to Lucy L. (Pitzen) and Walter A. Cousino in Toledo, Ohio. Rosemary married her husband, Lauren E. Stange on November 12, 1949 in Angola, Indiana. They were married for 63 wonderful years before he passed away in 2013. Rosemary was always the largest supporter of her children and granddaughter. She supported them through 4-H, and she was an athletic booster in girl’s sports at Perrysburg schools. She loved to bake for her children, granddaughter, and for everyone in the family. Rosemary was a member of many organizations, always supporting her community. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church for many years. She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star #446 Perrysburg Chapter; L.O.S.N.A. (Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America) Dendarah Court #10 as the Musical Clown of Shrine; and the American Legion Auxillary Post 240 in Luckey, Ohio. Rosemary is survived by her children Carl T. Stange of Winona, Minnesota, Tom (Robin) Stange of Perrysburg, Ohio, Barbara (Kurt Sieving) Stange of Pemberville, Ohio, Janet (Denise Reinhart-Stange) Stange of Wichita, Kansas; one granddaughter; and many loving nieces and nephews. Rosemary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lauren E. Stange; parents Lucy L. and Walter A. Cousino; and her siblings. Friends and family will be received from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2016, with a L.O.S.N.A. service at 7:00 pm in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue at 11:30 am on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Zoar Lutheran Church with funeral services to follow at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Zoar Lutheran Church or The Shriner’s Children Burn Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
