RoseMary D. Mikoleski (86) of Sylvania passed away at home on January 12, 2022. She was born December 15, 1935, to Wanda (Kuchinski) and John (Bemnista) in Toledo. She married Thaddeus J. Mikoleski in 1957.
RoseMary graduated from Whitney Vocational and worked in the histology lab at Riverside Medical Center before returning home to care for her family, eventually returning to the workforce.
RoseMary found tremendous enjoyment in cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, scrapbooking, and family pets over the years. Her life was filled with overwhelming hardships and loss and serves as a reminder for all to find the silver lining, appreciate the small things, see the good in others and always be grateful for what you have as she did, never taking anything for granted.
‘Boots’ will be fondly remembered for her uncompromising devotion to family, perseverance, infectious laugh, sense of humor, and immediate willingness to always help out. She never sought the spotlight, preferring always to do things selflessly and anonymous.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathy Harris and Donna Mikoleski, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thaddeus preceded her in death in 1991 and son, Steve, in 2019.
All Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made in remembrance to the American Heart Association, The Victory Center or Toledo Humane Society.
