Rose E. Russell

Rose E. (Webster) Russell, age 94, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Kingston of Perrysburg where she resided for the past three years. Rose was born May 15, 1927 as the youngest of eight children born to Joshua and Rose Webster. She attended beauty school early in life, moved to Toledo, and worked as a beautician for many years, eventually owning her own salon. Later in life, she began a new career with the State of Ohio but still enjoyed styling hair for friends and family in her spare time. Rose loved all animals and adored the poodles she had throughout the years. She also liked to garden, work in her yard, and accomplish little projects around the house. Rose made many friends during her years at Kingston of Perrysburg and loved the staff there. Rose is survived by her son, Jess Russell and granddaughter, Jessica Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 7 siblings Theresa, Agnes, Glenn, Marie, Gertie, Joe, and Pat. Graveside services will be held at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery on August 25, 2021 at 10:00 am. Arrangements are being handled by Walker Funeral Home, Toledo (419-841-2422).
