Rose Mary Weirich

RoseMary Weirich, 78, of Woodville and formerly of Oak Harbor passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Flower Hospital, Toledo. She was born on July 30, 1942 in Port Clinton, OH to Paul M. and Wanda P. (Harder) Wargowsky. On October 14, 1961 in Oak Harbor she married Kenneth O. Weirich, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2017. RoseMary worked as an LPN for 19 years at Riverview Nursing Home, 11 years at St. Charles Hospital, and 2 years at Portage Valley Otterbein Nursing Home, retiring in 2002. She was a longtime member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor, where she helped lead the Stephen Ministry. RoseMary is survived by her children, Tammy (Timothy) Schnitker and Warren (Dana) Weirich, grandchildren, Timothy B. (Courtney) Schnitker II, Thomas C. (Kayleigh) Schnitker, Weston D. Weirich and Elyse M. Weirich, and great grandson, Timothy Schnitker, III. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant sister, Judith Joan Wargowsky, sister, Angeline George and brothers, Frederick and Gaylord Wargowsky. Visitation for RoseMary will be 2-8 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2021 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor with burial to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of RoseMary can be given to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor or the Alzheimer’s Association.
