Rose Heller Malloy Rose Malloy, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many, died peacefully on February 11, 2009. Throughout the years, Rose made her home in Poughkeepsie, NY, Hyde Park, NY, and surrounding areas of Toledo, Ohio. Predeceased by Lawrence, her beloved husband of 58 years, she is survived by children Karen Frank Nikic of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Kevin Edith Malloy of Bay Point, CA, and Kathleen Frank Lowe of Flat Rock, MI; grandchildren Christian Laura Wright, Major Jonathan Lisa Wright, Shawna Brown, Sarah Whitman, Lawrence Malloy, and Sean Malloy; great-grandchildren Jared and Kyle Wright, Harrison, Austin, and Madison Wright, Connor Sherlock, and Chandler and Luke Brown. She is also survived by her brother Richard Judith Heller, and sister-in-law Janet Heller. Rose loved parties, family get-togethers, and daylong outings with her friends. Her family and those who knew her felt her keen interest in everything they shared with her. She was a member and held office in a variety of clubs, including Toledo Metropolitan Ladies Club, Toledo Womens Luncheon Club, Toledo Museum of Art 1st Wednesday Gallery Group, Maumee Elks and Ladies Auxiliary, New Neighbors Alumni, and the Swan Creek Garden Club. We will all miss her beautiful smile, tender heart, and adventurous spirit. Mom, we love you. The family will receive friends at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. on Friday from 2:00 5:00pm and 7:00 9:00pm. A Memorial Mass will be said at St. Josephs Church, 5373 Main St., Sylvania, OH, at 10:00am, Saturday, February 14.
