Rose Gunner

Rose Gunner, 94, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at Lakes of Monclova. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 25, 1928, to Joseph and Josephine (Amato) Schiavone.

Rose was a faithful member of St. Thomas Aquinas where she was part of the Altar Rosary Society. She loved cooking, crocheting, dancing, and watching the grandchildren’s sporting events. Rose was a caring and loving mom, grandma, and great grandma.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Diana (Thomas) Zuchowski; son, Robert (Rhonda) Gunner; grandchildren, Dawn (Jeff) Heaton, Andrew (Jody) Zuchowski, Austin (Leah) Gunner, and Kayla (Casey) Skhwartzkopf; great grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey, Blake, Luke, Charlie, Ethan, Hayden, Norah, Gunner, and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Gunner; brothers, James, Alex, and Joseph; sister, Frances “Fran” and three sisters-in-law.

Friends will be received at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd, Rossford, Ohio 43460 on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, at 12:30 pm in St Thomas Aquinas, 729 White St. Toledo, Ohio 43605. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
