Rose Gardner

Gardner Rose Rose Gardner, age 89 of Toledo, passed away peacefully in her home on Feb. 26th, 2010. Rose grew up in Point Place where she enjoyed roller skating at Willow Beach. Rose loved to travel with her family and work at craft shows. She was a long time Detroit Red Wing and Tiger fan. Rose was a member of VFW Post 2510 for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry and sister, Evelyn Callahan. She will be dearly missed by her children, Carl Arlene of Mishawaka, IN, Russell, Joanne, and Barb; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her special Golden Retriever grand-dogs Friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00pm on Sunday, Feb. 28th at Walker Funeral Home 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. followed by funeral services at 1:00pm on March 1st. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo and Tanya and Brooke of home care.
