Rose Faulkner

Rose Faulkner, age 90, a lifelong resident of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Sunday January 25, 2015 at UTMC. She was born on September 7,1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Ferdinand and Rosa (Etter) Renaux. Rose worked at the Ordinance Depot during WW II where she met her husband John. She was a 1942 graduate of Maumee High School and a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee. After raising her family, Rose worked as a custodian for Maumee City Schools. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. Rose was a friend to many and always ready to assist those in need. She was feisty and had a great sense of humor. Rose is survived by her daughter, Rosie (Alan) Fellhauer; son, Dan (Sandy); daughter, Mary (Rick) Marciniak; grandchildren, Jeff (Lisa), Dan (Amy), Marc (Julie), Chris (Theresa), Melissa, Nick and Kristen; great grandchildren, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Paul, Daniel, Will, Charlotte, and Carly. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents and 9 siblings. Visitation will be from 2:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday January 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee with prayers beginning at the funeral home at 10:00 AM.
