Rose Marie Carey

Carey Rose Marie Rose Marie Carey, age 83, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at her home. The daughter of John and Florence Broadway, she was born April 4, 1927 in Toledo. Rose married Perry R. Dick Carey on Sept. 3, 1971. Rose had a servant heart. Family was very important to her and she will be remembered for outstanding cooking. Her door was always open with a warm heart and plenty of food for all. Her open door went beyond family and friends, as she frequently took in strays of all walks of life including ducks and rabbits. She loved flowers, but above all she loved her husband tirelessly. She is survived by her husband Perry R. Dick step children, Tony Stephanie Carey, Deedre Frank Schneider, Dawn Edward Bellner; 8 grandchildren; brother, John Dodo Delores Broadway; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 9 AM 9PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd where services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM.
