Rosalyn J. Siegel

Rosalyn Roggie J. Siegel was born in Toledo, OH on June 18, 1927 and passed away in her home on March 14, 2014. She was the oldest of three children born to Rea and Meyer Shall. Roggie attended Fulton School, Scott High School, and the University of Toledo. She married Fred Siegel and together they had three children, Carol, Bill, and Jill Jo-Jo. Roggie was an avid fan of the Detoit Tigers and enjoyed playing tennis, Mahjong, and Bridge. Roggie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother, Bob Shall. She is survived by brother, David Bobbie Shall; children, Carol Max Gaston of Charleston, SC, Bill Sally Siegel of Dallas, TX, and Jo-Jo Stu Goldberg of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Jack and Stephanie Siegel, and Josh Amanda, Adam, and Cydney Goldberg. Funeral services will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Sunday at 2:00pm with interment following at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received immediately following interment on Sunday until 8:00pm as well as Monday and Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:30pm at 5617 Ginger Tree Lane, Toledo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Shomer Emunim, the American Heart Association, or the charity of the donors choice.
