Rosalie Sammarco

Rosalie Sammarco, 83, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Specialty Hospital of Lorain in Amherst, Ohio. She was born on June 3, 1937 in Varney, West Virginia to the late Floyd and Matilda (Varney) Scott. On October 11, 1968 she married Joseph Sammarco and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2004. She was a homemaker and loved sitting on her porch with her dog Brutus, and doting over her granddaughter, Lexi. Survivors include her children, Douglas (Elizabeth) Knauer, Joseph (Norma) Sammarco, Jr., and Bianca Williams; grandchildren, Trenton, Anthony, Jordan, Victoria, Alexis, and Alexandria; great-granddaughter, Jennaci; sisters, Anita (Tom) Ferrell and Peggy (Douglas) Monk. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters, Blanche McConville and Vickie Rogers. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 9 am at Harris-Elmore Cemetery in Elmore, Ohio.
