Rosalie R. Bolander

Rosalie R. Bolander of Toledo, Ohio died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio. She was 95 years old. Rosalie was born in Deerfield, Michigan on October 24, 1921 to Charles and Victoria (Roe) Amrhein. Rosalie spent most of her working career in the Toledo office of the Spiegel Catalog. She was a lifelong member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Rosalie is survived by her children Richard (Nancy), Patricia (Edward) Hawley, Jim (Holly), sister Anne, grandchildren Brian(Teresa), Eric (Susan), Dawn (Roy) Mays, Brett Hawley, Adam, & Evan Bolander, and her great-grandchildren Tony, Kyle, Zach, Megan, Ashley, Alexis, & Alyssa. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bus, her brother Charles Amrhein, and her sister Carol Allam. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Karen Booher and Ellen Sarver of Ohio Living Hospice, Lisa Gosik, and the entire staff of the Ebeid Hospice Residence for their compassionate care. The family would also like to extend a most special thank you to Mary Ann Root for her long dedication to Rosalie. Her care was instrumental to keeping Rosalie in her own home, which she loved, for as long as possible. In accordance with Rosalie’s wishes, funeral services will be private.
