Ronald Walter Zuchowski

Ronald Walter Zuchowski (Zuk), age 84 of Rossford, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020.  He was born on July 20, 1935 to Chester and Martha (Kraszewski) Zuchowski.  Ron graduated from Rossford High School in 1952 where he played football and baseball. He was drafted in 1958 and spent 2 years proudly serving his country in the United States Army. After the Army he returned to Rossford where he worked at LOF Glass until his retirement. He also owned Jewels Beauty Salon from 1964 until 2015.  Ron loved to tell his children and grandchildren stories of the Family, Polish Heritage and his time in the Army. He enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, reading and playing the slots. He is survived by his friend and former wife Sharon (Helberg) Zuchowski; children Brent (Julie), Brenda (Tom) Pliska, Ronnie and Beth (John) Rust; 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his first wife Jewel, his parents and sister Rosemary (Zuchowski) Konidaris. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life for Ron at the Rossford VFW Hall, 175 Osborne St. on Saturday, March, 21, 2020 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
