Ronald C. Wilkinson

Ronald Wilkinson of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, he was 69 years old. Ron was born on January 12, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio. He enjoyed camping, boating and fishing. He often went on extended camping trips with family and friends. He was a talented musician and often played elaborate piano pieces for fun. Ronnie, as friends and family often called him, loved to garden, build and fix just about everything. You name it, Ron tried to fix it. He learned how to do a lot on his own. Ron was a “self-taught” jack of all trades. He worked on cars, motorcycles, home wiring, plumbing, carpentry, and furnace repair. He often helped family members whenever situations would arise. People often boasted of his kind nature as he would drop everything and spend a lot of time helping relatives when they needed it. Ron attended Waite High School in East Toledo. He was a hard working father, working for the same company for over 30 years in Maintenance. He worked long hours on complex machinery to provide for his family and hardly missed work during his long career. He is survived by his wife Marcella, son, Vincent (Michelle Sullivan), daughter, April (Chris Schwarzkopf), father, Richard Wilkinson (Debbie Wilkinson), sisters, Linda Wing, Alice (CJ) Kopp, Kathleen Wilkinson, grandchildren, Sierra Wilkinson, Jon Wilkinson, Michael Vincent Sullivan, Sloane Sullivan, Clara Schwarzkopf and Cora Schwarzkopf. He is preceded in death by his mother Norma Jean Wilkinson, sister Elizabeth Abde, Robert Wilkinson, and Jeffrey Wilkinson. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ron’s life at the Maison-Dardenne- Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 2 until 7 p.m.. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11 a.m in the funeral home. Ronald will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
