Ronald Alan Sullivan

Ronald Alan Sullivan, 51, passed away at 8:50 pm on October 28, 2012 in Maumee, Ohio. Ron was born May 20, 1961 in Toledo, Ohio to Waldo and Phyllis Sullivan. His father was a veteran of World War II and his mother was a homemaker and mother of eight children. Ron graduated from Springfield High School in 1979, going on to work in sales and customer service at various equipment companies in Northwest Ohio. Ron loved to spend time with his children, friends, and family. He was active coaching and watching sports with his children and those close to him. He devoted much of his time to the Boy Scouts of America, working in a number of capacities helping youth grow and prosper to their fullest potential. He thoroughly enjoyed camping and playing horseshoes with his friends at the Country Campground in Whitehouse, Ohio. Ron is survived by his son Brandon Katie, daughter Brittany, mother Phyllis, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Waldo and a brother, Tom Sullivan. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee from 3-8 pm on Thursday November 1, 2012. A service will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church 112 E. Wayne St., Maumee, Ohio on Friday November 2, 2012 at 11:00am.
