Ronald "Ron" Allen Pierce, Sr.

October 13, 1942 — August 5, 2022

Ronald Allen Pierce Sr. (Ron) of Port Clinton, Ohio; 79, has departed this earth on August 5th, 2022, at home surrounded by some of his family.

Ron was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 13, 1942 to the late Stanley and Vera( Bailey) Pierce. He grew up with his siblings; Patricia Jahn, Stanley Bud(Melody) Pierce, Richard(Charlene) Pierce, Norma Dee McCumber, Judith(Chuck) Borror

Ron married the love of his life Linda(Billingsley) on November 21, 1963. They were married for 59 years! Along with Linda, Ron is survived by his 5 children. Scott(Jo Anne) Pierce, Ronald Jr.( Ilsa) Pierce, Valerie(Bradley) Herndon, Brian Pierce, Kendra(Sean) Pierce Daly.

Ron enjoyed fishing and riding bikes when he was able, late night drives and camping, he was forever on the move. One thing he loved the most was his grandchildren; especially when they were little. He is survived by 12 grandchildren; Jessica Pierce, Scotti Pierce, Katie Pierce, Shane Pierce, Jacquelyn(Alex) Garn, Bradley Sr.(Kaley) Herndon, Erich Pierce, Jarred Pierce, Kayla Pierce, Erin(Ashley) Daly, Rylee Daly, and Sarah Shepherd.

Then Ron was ever so blessed with 13 great grandchildren! Anthony Risley, Lily Pierce, Christian Mabry, Cashis Risley, Caydence Pierce, Victoria Pierce, Zayne Pierce, Marcus Risley, Bradley Herndon Jr., Scarlett Wittrich, Alexander Garn Jr., Peyton Wittrich, and AriaLynn Garn. Ron is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends and Family may visit for calling hours from 10:00-12:30 on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Gerner-Wolf Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 12:30 in the funeral home.
