Ronald E. Oneal

Ronald E. ONeal, age 71, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at his home in Sylvania. Ron was born June 29, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Thomas and Estelle ONeal. A 1961 graduate of DeVilbiss High School, Ron received his Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Toledo and his Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Notre Dame University. He was vice-president of Mercy Hospital before retiring in 1997. Ron was an avid boater and a longtime member of the Toledo Yacht Club. He also enjoyed golfing with friends. Ron loved cars and owned some unique models which he took to various area car shows. Ron is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Robert Thomas Jill ONeal and Melissa John Scuterud; grandchildren, Katherine and Bridget ONeal and Jack and Sophie Scuterud; and brother, Thomas Sandy ONeal. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Saturday. December 21, 2013 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. from 10:00am-12:00pm with services immediately following at 12:00pm. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
