Ronald C. Mayo

Ronald “Ron” C. Mayo, 76, of Maumee, Ohio died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ron was born in Warren County, Tennessee on August 10, 1940 to Paul L. and Grace L. (Ritchey) Mayo. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1959 and married his sweetheart, Linda E. Faust, on June 3, 1967. He enjoyed bird watching, fishing, motorcycling, and bowling. Ron retired in 2005 from Ford Motor Company, where he was a tool and die maker. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church in Maumee. Ron is survived by his sons, Paul L. (Kim Lombardo) Mayo, Sr., Matthew C. (Corrina) Mayo, Steven A. (Jennifer) Mayo, Mark J. (Amber) Mayo; grandchildren, Paul L. (Corri) Jr., Ashley, Kaylynn, Hannah, Nicholas, Jacqueline, Mackenzie, Abigail, Ava, Greyson; four great-grandchildren; and loving sister, Wanda (Bobby) Todd. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Linda Mayo; parents, Paul and Grace Mayo; and sister, Charris Davis. Friends will be received at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
