RONALD EDWARD KNUDSON Ronald Edward Knudson “Ron”, age 59, of Millbury, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 18, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Walter and Hazel Knudson. He graduated from Lake High School in 1970. Ron served briefly in the Ohio National Guard. He was united in marriage to Linda Mae Reid on February 9, 1983, in Perrysburg, Ohio. Ron was a kind and gentle family man who lived a quiet life on the Knudson family farm helping others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ron is survived by his wife, Linda Mae; his son, David, Millbury; his granddaughter, Autumn; two sisters, Sandra Lee, Millbury, and Patricia (Ronald) Schaeffer, Lewes, DE; his brother, Larry, Millbury; three nieces, Christine (Scott) Kempf, Perrysburg; Lisa (Reid) Mudgett, Zanesville; and Laura (Larry) Starkey, Bowling Green; and his nephew, John Nehay, Monclova. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 9:00 am. until the time of services at 11:30 am. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, (419-666-3121). Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a monetary donation are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
