Ronald D. Justice

Ronald D. “Red” Justice passed away peacefully in his home Friday, March 2nd 2018. The son of Eugene and Artia Justice, he was born April 24th 1934 in Stone, KY. He graduated from Belfry High School in 1951 and served in the 82nd Airborne Division of United States Army. In 1960, he married Esta Mae Taylor of Forrest Hills, KY. Ronald worked as a Railroad Engineer all over the Southeast and Midwest, retiring from Conrail in 1996. After his wifes death in 1982, he raised his 2 sons as a single father. Later in life, he reconnected with his High School sweetheart Amy Jane Jones of Nashville, TN and they remained together until his recent death. Ronald was a Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed spending time with his family and said he was most relaxed when driving one of his many cars. He also liked listening to music, whether it be Southern Gospel, classic R&B or the Eagles. Ronald is preceded in death by his wife Esta, his parents Eugene and Artia, sister Louis Gene Grimmet, and brothers Emmett W., Robert H., Franklin E., and Gregory Bruce Justice. He is survived by his sons Ronald and Jason, grandsons David and John, brother Arlie David Justice, sisters Joy Blackburn and Bettie Rose Fields, Amy Jane Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10th at Sharondale Church of Christ in Belfry, KY from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, before he is laid to rest at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Huddy, KY.
