Ronald Gene Gray died peacefully in his home on May 16, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born Charles and Betty Jane (Noice) Gray in Toledo, Ohio, on March 28, 1956.
Ron enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 17. He was so proud of his service and had so many great stories about jumping out of airplanes. After his honorable discharge in 1976, he returned home and became a truck driver hauling steel across the country.
Goofy in nature, Ron loved to bring joy to others and spread laughter. His antics and jokes were timed perfectly. Whether sharing a drink at the Anchor Inn with friends or watching his beloved New England Patriots with family, you could count on a good time.
Left to carry on his legacy, children, Ronald Clayton “Kyle” (Telicia) Gray, Tiffeney (Vitaliano) Pizzonia, Christopher (Olivia) Gray, Amanda Keys; grandchildren, Kennidie Black, Merliee Andrist, Ronald Clayton “Kyle” Gray Jr,. Victoria Pizzonia, Katarina Pizzonia, Vitaliano III, Taresa Pizzonia; siblings, Bob (Nancy) Gray, and Sandy Bostelman.
Preceding Ron in death are his father, Charles Clayton Gray; mother, Betty Jane Gray; brothers, Chuck DeVerna, Bill Deverna, Jim Deverna
A graveside service will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 1 pm with military honors.
