Ronald A. Ron Eichler

Ronald “Ron” A. Eichler, 45, of Port Clinton, OH passed away, Monday, March 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born on October 7, 1971 in Port Clinton, OH to Frederick and Bess (Goodman) Eichler. Ron enjoyed cooking, playing darts, and he was a big Michigan Wolverine fan. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Bess (Doug) Eichler, father, Frederick Eichler, brother, Gerald (Melissa) Eichler, nephew, Garrett Eichler, and niece, Mallory Eichler. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathryn Goodman, grandparents, Lawrence & Loretta Eichler, uncle, Kenneth Baker, aunt, Alice Almendinger, and cousin, Jennifer Almendinger. A Celebration of Life Gathering for Ron will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Ron may be directed to Firelands Hospital Radiology Department, who the family would like to thank for all of their care and support.
