Roland Dean Mcilhargie

Roland McIlhargie, 77, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away June 15, 2017 at home. Roland was born to Russell and Grace (Shea) McIlhargie in Toledo, Ohio. Roland worked for Local 7 as a journeyman painter for 40 years prior to his retirement in 1998. Roland loved boating and fishing. He was also involved with the Riverview Yacht Club. Roland was married to Sheila Curley, and leaves as survivors, his ex-wife Sheila; their 3 children Debra (Marshall) Sarver, Lisa (Robert) Cole, Dan (Renee) McIlhargie; grandchildren Krystal, Matthew, Chris, Kyle, and Emily. Roland then married his wife Anna Faulkner and he is survived by her 3 children James Mills, Debbie (Ray) Hill, Timothy (Debbie) Mills; and her grandchildren Krystal, Angela, Dusty, Stuart, Rae Ann, Jaymes, Heather, Katelynn, Valerie, and Timothy. Roland is also survived by his 17 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; and his sister Diane Adkins. Roland is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Tina Mull; and grandchildren Jessie Rae Cole, Daniel Mull. The family would like to thank Dawn, Jessica, Rachelle, Steve, and Pastor Harold for their loving care and support through Roland’s journey. Friends and family are welcome to Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, Ohio 43616 (419-691-6768) on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Roland’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association and Grace Hospice.
