Roger Allan Riehl

Roger Allan Riehl, age 90, went to his Heavenly home on March 21, 2018. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he and his wife, Dorothy, resided in Rossford, Ohio for over 50 years, where they raised four children. He graduated from Valparaiso University and received his masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. He served in the US Army and was stationed in the Philippines during World War II. Roger was an active church member at Hosanna Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monclova. He enjoyed sailing, traveling, and crossword puzzles. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Dorothy, his four children Erich (Cassandra), Suzanne, Matthew (Heidi), Seth (Sarah); six grandchildren and sister, Lois Zalent. Roger was proceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Eleanor (Hendrichs) Riehl and brothers, Howard and Warren Riehl. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Hosanna Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8353 Monclova Road, Monclova, Ohio. The Reverend Scott Mosher presiding.
