Roger Clark Power, 82, of Toledo, OH passed away on February 14, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on December 18, 1934 to Irving and Marion (Clark) Power. He graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1953. Roger received his Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Michigan in 1957. He moved to California to enter the life insurance business, as he knew fellow SAE members there. Roger moved back to Toledo to join Pilot Life Insurance Co. based in Greensboro, KY. Eventually, he and a friend formed their own Pilot Life Insurance Agency in Toledo. Roger was also employed by Alexander Hamilton Insurance based out of Detroit, MI. He was awarded agent of the year and often awarded trips that he, his wife and children really enjoyed. He loved people and made many friends who remain to this day. Surviving is his loving wife, Ruth; son, Stephen (Jeanette); daughter, Stephanie and grandson, Adam. Also surviving are sisters, Marilyn (Clyde) Stedcke and Jane Barnes; 5 nieces and 3 nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 12 Noon.
