Roger Allen Havens, Sr.

Roger Allen Havens, Sr., age 76, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  He was born on October 3, 1945 in Havre de Grace, Maryland to Samuel Clayton and Lissie (Parks) Havens.  Roger was a jack of all trades mechanic, a former truck driver and a long time fish cleaner for various companies in the Port Clinton area.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and always had a joke for everyone he talked to.

Roger is survived by is wife, Ruth; children, Angie Greathouse, Roger Havens, Jr., Lissie (David) Silverwood, Clayton Havens and Catherine (Travis Clark) Havens; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and siblings, David (Thomasina “Snookie”)  Havens, Garnet (Lisa) Havens, Minnie Grooms and Barbara Millhouse; sister-in-law, Beverly Havens; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Linda Lou and siblings, Viola, Rosie, Harvey, Sam (Lois), Claude, and Alfred (Betty); brothers in law, Junior Grooms and Robert “Butch” Millhouse.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5-8 pm at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.
