Rocky L. Cutlip, Sr., 72, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on January 18, 1952, to Hubert and Virginia (Cool) Cutlip. Rocky began his career as a locomotive engineer for Norfolk Southern in 1970. He went on to work there for many years as a valued employee before his retirement in 2015. He was a hardworking and talented man. Rocky was musically inclined and loved to sing at local karaoke nights. He was also ver
y knowledgeable and skilled at home improvement tasks, often using his skills and time to assist friends and family with their renovations.
He is survived by his brother, Rodney (Sharon) Cutlip; grandchildren, Cortnee (Beau) Cutlip Kramer, Kyle Cutlip; great-grandchildren, Zoey Kramer, Nash Kramer; former spouse and dear friend, Diane (Ray Chicolini) Cutlip; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Rocky L. Cutlip, Jr.; second wife, Sharon (Griffith) Cutlip; brothers, Randy, and Ricky Cutlip; nephew, Daniel Cutlip; and parents.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623, beginning at 10 a.m., until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Parkcliffe Community for their love and care during the last few months. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
