Roberta C. Floro

Roberta C. Floro, of Genoa, Ohio died Saturday, October 15, 2011 the Manor of Perrysburg, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born on June 17, 1929 in String Prairie, Texas to Max and Anna Segal Behrens. On January 17, 1949 in String Prairie, Texas she married Robert Floro, and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1988. She was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa where she helped with the churchs apple pie sale, the feather party, and cooking for funerals at the church. Roberta was also a cub scout leader for many years. Roberta is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ken Schober of Walbridge, son, Steve Judi Floro of Genoa, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, brothers, James and Edgar Behrens both of Texas, and sisters Janice Littlefield and Neva Mueth both of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Mike and Noel Floro, brother, Buddy Behrens, and sister, Eleanor Siedel. Private graveside services will be performed at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions in memory of Roberta may be directed to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, St. Judes Children Foundation, or the American Cancer Society. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
